KUNDALINI

Kundalini is the whole energy of the cosmos in the individual and beyond.

It is the energy of consciousness. Without the constant flow of that energy, you could not live. With a large flow, your mind begins to awaken. You stop living in imaginary realities and become very committed to the missions and joys of life. A new level of clarity accompanies your perception, intuition and action.

In other words, a person becomes totally and wholly aware. That is why it is called “the yoga of awareness.”

THE ENERGY

Kundalini Yoga is a complete system to amplify the highest states of consciousness. It clears, energizes and activates the soul, the physical, the mental, the auric, the pranic, the subtle, the radiant bodies etc - aka our whole system of ten bodies.

It is an ideal practice in today’s fast paced world as it requires little time to practice and produces profound results very quickly. Yoga means union and Kundalini creates the union between the flow of the practitioner’s spirit and the universal life force. This merging process opens up new realms of vitality, creativity and prosperity. Kundalini Yoga awakens the inner power that exists within every human to create self-mastery and joy.

THE YOGA

A Kundalini Yoga & Gong Meditation class involves a curated movement series (kriyas), breathing exercises (pranayama),  meditation (with or without chanting mantra), and deep relaxation (Savasana) with the healing sound current of the Gong.

  • Yes! Anyone can practice and benefit tremendously from doing Kundalini Yoga. In fact, the beginner’s mind is one of the best states for doing anything in. Just come as you are, and expect magic!

  • Yes! You will receive great benefits just by showing up and being in the group energy field - even if you’re lying down relaxing the whole time.

    You can always modify and adjust based on your own capability. You could also imagine yourself doing the posture and movement and commanding your aura to participate in that direction. Our imagination works magic - just come and join us!

  • Yes - that’s totally okay. The Kundalini practice is an add-on technology. You are gaining and improving every moment you are in class, so just come whenever you can, do your best, and get the most out of it!

  • Yes, you can totally participate, have a lot of fun, and receive a great benefit, even if you don’t like chanting.

    You can just be there and listen to the rest of us chanting. Your listening and the resonance created will create equal effect on your system.

    Who knows, maybe you will find that you actually start to like chanting and fall in love with your voice, realizing it is actually so beautiful when we all chant together and merge in the sonic harmony. Isn’t that great ?

  • Yes, totally. Most of the meditations in Kundalini Yoga are a form of active meditation, where your mind is engaged in focusing on different movement and sounds. This makes meditation very accessible for busy minds! After that all of that hard work meditating, the sound and vibration of the gong directly brings you into a deep relaxation and meditative state. It’s irresistible.

  • No. We encourage white clothing because white covers all the seven spectrums and wearing white enhances the aura by three times according to the ancient yogic teachings. Wearing white makes you feel better and stronger, however it’s totally not a necessity for joining the class.
